I got my new camera! I've been playing with it and finally got some of my first pictures on to the computer and I have to say I'm quite pleased. It's not fancy- it's still just a point and shoot but it's a much needed upgrade from my last camera. Just thought I'd share some pictures. Hope everyone's having a good week!
I have a funny story! Well at least it's funny now. A couple days ago I was trying to go to sleep but my house was really hot. It was about two in the morning and I woke my dad up and he turned on the AC. Well I went back into my room and stuck my face over my vent and got a face full of the smell of smoke. Seconds later the fire alarm went off in my room and my entire house was filled with smoke. And the lovely AC was bringing smoking hot air into my house, even after my dad turned it off. I didn't get much sleep- can you believe that? The next day we found out it exploded, flames, smoke and all. It's fixed now though and I can already look back and laugh.

Nice pictures, I also have a point and shoot camera and I think they work pretty well if you play around with lighting and some of the features.
